Herman Pettiford is a 73-year-old man with 9 children with 5 of his children being older than his wife being 43 years old. They have been together 20 years and married for 18. This is an exciting and wonderful story about a boy from the East Baltimore ghetto when ghettos were not dangerous nor violent. They were just poor and lacking ways and avenues to get out. But the ghettoreans did find peace, love, faith and a reason to believe In one’s self mainly through religion that was taught to them by their parents and guardians which made them better adults.
