Herman Pettiford is a 76 year old man with 9 children, with 5 children being older than his wife being 46 years old. They have been together 22 years and married for 20 years. This is an exciting and wonderful story about a boy from the East Baltimore ghetto when ghettos were not dangerous or violent. They were just poor and lacking ways and avenues to get out. But the Ghetto children did find peace, love, faith and a reason to believe in oneself mainly through religion that was taught to them by their parents and guardians which made them better adults.
